How It Works
Getting your lab work done at ALLCARE is straightforward.
Your Provider Orders Tests
During your appointment, your provider will determine which lab tests are needed based on your health concerns, symptoms, or routine checkup requirements.
We Collect Samples On-Site
Our trained clinical staff will draw blood or collect urine samples right here at the clinic. The process is quick and comfortable — no need to leave the office.
Quest Diagnostics Processes Your Samples
Your samples are securely packaged and sent to Quest Diagnostics for laboratory analysis. Quest is a CLIA-certified, nationally accredited lab with locations across the country.
Results Reviewed & Shared
Results are typically available within 1–3 business days. Your provider reviews them and communicates findings to you via a follow-up call or through your Healow patient portal.

Note: Rapid tests (flu, COVID, strep) are performed and read in-office. Other tests are sent to Quest Diagnostics for processing.
Preparing for Your Lab Work
A few tips to ensure smooth and accurate sample collection:
Fasting
Some tests (lipid panel, fasting glucose) require 8–12 hours of fasting. Your provider will let you know in advance. Water is always okay.
Stay Hydrated
Drinking water before your visit makes blood draws easier and helps with urine sample collection.
Bring Your Insurance Card
Lab work is typically covered by insurance. Bring your current card so we can verify coverage and billing details.
List Your Medications
Certain medications can affect lab results. Let your provider know about all current medications and supplements.
